Manual on Protest Injunctions
The Manual on Protest Injunctions: Practice, Procedure and Persons Unknown was first released in January 2023. Its purpose is to set out the law on protest injunctions, but many of the principles will also apply to other trespass injunctions as well.
It seeks to do two things: (1) provide practical know-how to all parties involved in the legal process, an area which can be hard to navigate; and, (2) set out a thorough account of the substantive law by reference to most, if not all, of the reported cases on protest injunctions over the last few years.
The Manual is now in its 2nd version (2024, v2). The 3rd version (2025, v3) will be available from September 2025.
